Volunteer With the Posse

The Navajo County Sheriff’s Posse is always looking for dedicated volunteers who want to serve their community. Members support search and rescue, public safety, and community events across Navajo County, mounted or unmounted.

Because we operate under the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, membership runs through the Sheriff’s Office volunteer program. Every member becomes a vetted volunteer of the Sheriff’s Office, which is what allows us to respond when the Sheriff calls.

  • Support search and rescue operations
  • Assist at community events and public safety efforts
  • Serve mounted or unmounted
  • Maintain training and certifications
